Jon Ying graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in visual arts with an emphasis in film & video.  After graduation, Jon began his career in the Hollywood TV & Film industry working on shows Little Miss Sunshine, Extreme Home Makeover, Deal or No Deal, America’s Got Talent and many others.  These shows were among the most highly rated at the time.  Jon also worked on a Jack Black feature, "Tenacious D: In the Pick of Destiny," as a camera intern.  Jon's film and editing mentor was the director and editor of the TV show "Golden Girls."  Jon has extensive experience with marketing videos, corporate videos, wedding films, Youtube episodes, short films and features, music videos and more.

Jon was an NCAA swimmer and worked for the County of Los Angeles as an ocean lifeguard.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, swimming and surfing.
